Centennial Bank “Stock the Box” Food Drive Finale – Huge Success for the Pine Island Food Pantry

Centennial Bank’s six-week long “stock the box” food drive ended on August 31, yielding 1,250 pounds of food donations plus several cash donations for the Pine Island Food Pantry. This exceeded all expectations, and came just at a time when food donations were down during the summer doldrums. Thank you, Elsie Stearns, Branch Manager, the Centennial Bank Team, and all our fellow Islanders for your generous support to the food pantry.

Elsie plans to host this food drive as a standard summer event going forward so, please look for it again next summer.
