The Pine Island Food Pantry’s Third Annual “Stock the Box” Food Drive, hosted by Centennial Bank, is officially at the halfway point—and our community is already making an incredible impact.
So far this August, 1,100 pounds of food have been collected to help stock the shelves of the Pine Island Food Pantry and support local families and individuals in need.
This year’s goal is to surpass the 1,500 pounds collected during last year’s drive. With several weeks still remaining, we are well on our way—but we need the community’s help to make this our most successful Stock the Box campaign yet.
Every donation makes a difference. Shelf-stable food and pantry staples collected through the drive help ensure that the Pine Island Food Pantry can continue providing dependable food assistance to our neighbors throughout the year. Whether you contribute a few items or a larger donation, every pound brings us closer to our goal!
We are incredibly grateful to Centennial Bank for once again hosting Stock the Box and for their continued support of the Pine Island Food Pantry. Community partnerships like this are an important part of our ability to serve Pine Island and the surrounding area.
A special thank-you also goes to the Centennial Bank team members helping make this year’s drive possible, including Elsie Stearns, Kaitlyn Thompson, and Kim Essley.
With 1,100 pounds already collected, we have just 400 pounds to go before matching last year’s total—and we would love to go well beyond it.
If you would like to participate, please consider making a donation before the end of the drive and help us Stock the Box for our neighbors.
Together, we can make the Third Annual Stock the Box Food Drive the biggest one yet!
