Stamp Out Hunger 2025

Pine Island’s STAMP OUT HUNGER DRIVE 2025 is Saturday May 10th

Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries. It is the nation’s largest one-day food drive, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States. The great news is that whatever food is collected on Pine Island during the Food Drive stays on the Island helping our neighbors in need.

You can personally participate in the Drive by leaving a donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox around 8am on May 10th and your Letter Carrier or a Pantry Volunteer will pick it up.

Seasonal Neighbors: If you are leaving before May 10th, you may drop your donations off at your local post office on the island during regular hours, or at the Pantry Donation Box at Winn Dixie, or the Food Pantry located in the Our Lady of Miraculous Mary Church Hall Monday 9-11am or Thursday 9-11am.

If you would like to make a monetary donation instead you may do so right here:
