Last Week Stock The Box 2025

The Final Push: Stock The Box 2025 Needs Just 200 More Pounds!

We're in the home stretch, Pine Island!

This is the FINAL WEEK of Stock The Box 2025, and we are incredibly close to reaching our goal. With just 200 pounds of food remaining to collect, our community has shown tremendous generosity and support for families in need across Greater Pine Island and Matlacha.

Thanks to the outstanding partnership with Centennial Bank and our island community, we're on track to surpass last year's 1,000 pounds collected. The pantry has fed 2,200 families on Pine Island in 2024 with numbers rising all the time, making this final push crucial.

Why This Final Week Matters:

As Diane Gleason, treasurer of the Pine Island Food Pantry, explains, "Our snowbirds aren't here, and our donations are slowing down, making this a crucial time to bring food into our families."

Most needed items:

  • Cereal - perfect for back-to-school season
  • Crackers - versatile, shelf-stable options
  • Canned beans - protein-rich staples

How You Can Help This Final Week

Drop off donations at:

  • Centennial Bank (Pine Island branch) - open during regular banking hours
  • Pine Island Food Pantry - Mondays & Thursdays, 9am-11am at 12175 Stringfellow Road, Bokeelia

200 pounds. That's all we need. That's roughly 10-15 bags of groceries from generous community members like you.

Let's make Stock The Box 2025 our most successful campaign yet and ensure that no family on Pine Island goes hungry!
